Sonshine enrollment for the 2024-25 school year is open to current families. Any available openings may be applied for by new families after Spring break. Application does not guarantee enrollment.

  • Applications may be printed from our website, submitted electronically, or picked up from our school office.
  • Students Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Parent ID, Current Immunization Record, and School Physical within 12 months of starting on our campus
  • Bring the SCA Application and all your supporting documents to our office. Our preschool director will reach out to you if there is a spot that will fit your families needs that is available for enrollment and to schedule a meeting. If enrollment is offered, all enrollment fees and first months tuition will be due.
  • Tours are available for new families only after an enrollment spot is offered by the Director. Tours are scheduled and are not available for drop ins.

New Student VPK Applications Should Be Accompanied By

  • Applications may be printed from our website, submitted electronically, or picked up from our school office.
  • Students Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Parent ID, Current Immunization Record, and School Physical within 12 months of starting on our campus
  • Florida VPK Certificate of Eligibility:
    Visit the Division of Early Learning website to register and apply for your child’s VPK certificate of Eligibility. Click on the green  “apply for VPK” button.  https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/
    When complete, please print your Florida VPK certificate of eligibility to turn it in with your VPK application for enrollment  to SCA.
  • Bring the SCA Application and all your supporting documents to our office. Our preschool director will reach out to you if there is a spot that will fit your families needs that is available for enrollment and to schedule a meeting. If enrollment is offered, all enrollment fees and first months tuition will be due.

New Student Academy Applications Should Be Accompanied By

  • Applications may be printed from our website, submitted electronically, or picked up from our school office.
  • Academic Records such as last report card, current progress report, standardized testing, IEP/504 Plans, etc.
  • Students Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Parent ID, Current Immunization Record, and School Physical within 12 months of starting on our campus as well as SUFS scholarship approval letter.
  • Bring the SCA Application, $100 new student Application Fee, and all your supporting documents to our office.
  • When all documents are received, an entrance test and meeting with administration will be scheduled.
  • Tours are available for new families by request and are only for grades that are open for enrollment. Tours are scheduled and are not available for drop ins.
  • Enrollment is decided after all documents are received, testing  and meetings are complete. Upon an enrollment offer, the $100 enrollment fee is due as well as first months tuition and/or remainder fees after the scholarship amount.
